Out of curiosity...Adobe Audition 3...

If you want good midi on the PC go with Sonar. I haven't heard anything about audition. and since they JUST added vsti support I highly doubt they have their shit together when it comes to MIDI.

I own adobe Audition 3 and it is alot easier to use for recording and mixing vocals. but for midi I have no Idea

thats what i've grown used too
if i had the resources to make use out of sonar i would use it, but i dont have a real upgraded comp... mine is 2 years old

yea same here. Personally, I don't have the need for a lot of advanced midi functionality. I love Steinberg products anyway and I already know all the steinberg hot keys so it makes no sense to change to something else. I have Logic 8 which is supposed to be the Pro Tools killer and the best MIDI app out there but I don't even use it... and I know all the Apple hot keys lol

the older versions were just flashy looking. The new one tho... they got rid of all the pretty GUI and put together one of the best DAWs to come out in awhile.

I used Audition 2 for a while, I wasn't unhappy with it... of course all I do is record and mix vocals with other people's beats, but whatever... I'd be curious to see how Audition 3 is... honestly, Audition's not a BAD program like so many claim... it's just that there are BETTER programs out there...
