alright, when i record in mono, one side of the speaker is ALOT lower, like idk, and i see the difference on the screen too...its alot bigger on the top then bottom. also, the beat is too loud. can anyone help, thanks

check your volume controls, on your computer, not your cool edit.

yea its stereo or else there wouldn't be two wav files. similarly you can copy the good left wav file and paste it onto the right side.
