No because you need a Phantom Power Supply like I have a M-Audio PreUSB interface that comes with Phantom power and many other Interfaces and Soundcards have Phantom power supply

what i would say do is if you get that mic just get a interface that has the phatom power go to zZsounds.com ... i mean it aint hard to find a interface in a good mic thats if you got 300-400 bucks to blow...that dont mean you gone have top quality though

lol @ getting an interface and a good mic for $300-$400.

    try $1000+

Anyway... you need a preamp with phantom power.

I wouldnt recommend connecting it directly to your computer... if you want cheap shit that lets you do that then get the Samson USB. I dont think you could do it with your mic anyway and if you could youd need a half decent soundcard to run it through so Id just recommend a Sound Interface. Id recommend the Digidesign 1 at $90 but Brandon would tell me to shut the fuck up again.
Nah jokes... If youre not on a budget Id say get the E-MU 1616 PCI for THE best quality and phantom power

you can get a preamp that has a digital input instead of rushing into a cheap interface. that way you can buy a good interface later and youll still have a useable preamp in your new found equipment collection.
