Not green Not light Not white
But red,Blood red,Black
Shadows thrive in our souls
Every light has a shadow
Never will it change
Consuming our light
Consuming our soul
Filling us with grief,
Loneliness Filling us with tears,
Sadness Filling us with pain,Hate
Filling us with doubt,Darkness
Forever intertwined,
Light and it's shadow
Forever following,
The shadow of light

Death Our blood red shadow
Rid it you cannot

I think you did a very good job with this poem. You set the mood perfectly with your dark and morbid descriptions. I enjoyed the subject matter. It had a sophisticated grimness about it. I absolutely love shit like that! I also enjoyed the free flowing affect that your words had ... it just makes the read sooooo effortless. I'd say did a good job from top to bottom.

^That was just like WHOA!!!! Visual after visual after visua manl. The imagery was most definitely on point in this section. Now that's how you kick a piece off. so props on that son!





Actually, I should have just quoted the entire poem, cause it all fit together so perfectly. I wouldn't say any one line was more relevant, significant, or more deserving than the next. They all played their equal part in make this piece come across as awesome! Great Job!

i like it because it seems as if it didn't take to much 'over-thinkage', yet it came out nicely. usually im a dark writer, a depressing one if you will, and to me this came out ok. i'll be realistic and tell you that this isn't the best piece i've ever seen, but i do feel that you could be one of the ones with the best piece i've seen if you just take what you've got and improve. now that your making a name for yourself, you have a chance to just shoot off like a rocket, and you HAVE potential... nonetheless, nice shit man. keep writing, and keep doing your thing. oh, check my piece. not bad honestly. good idea... flow was consistant... but your word choice was VERY VERY poor. You used the same words to many times... and those words were subject words too...
Think more about explaining things like the darkness, the soul, and the light...
But it wasnt bad, the imagery was better than most either way...

keep writing... I assume this is a first round right up though.... So I understand... Good stuff in the end...
