    ESQ:
Tip One: if your want your graphics work to look realistic make sure that it has a light source, this makes the art have a sence of depth and direction.

    - A simple way to create a light source is to create a new layer (ctrl+shift+N if your using photoshop) then feather the selection tool (the one you use to draw a box when cutting... with ants crawling around it. set it to 100 or what ever fits your peice your working on.

select a space on the peice of art and drag like you normally would, now that you've feathered the brush it should appear in a circle (set feather to zero to get it back to the normal square selection)

*there is a skill to getting a small ant circle with a high feather number this one is set on 100, to do it you have got to just click and drag fast and iunno but its a glitch.*

next select the Pencil/paintbrush tool set the color to white and the brush size to 50 or what ever fits and draw over the selected space, you should get a light white layer further away from the selection circle and darker as you get towards the center.

    - another way (if the bg already has a light source EG sun in the picture or shadows <--- big give away if you have the wrong render in there) you gotta look at your render and decide where the light source is coming from because it would look stupid and fake to have the light source on one side and then shadows on that half of the renders face, basically you just got to match render to bg

heres an example of one of my drops i did not tha long ago my game tag "The Devil Within" or "Devil on earth" or something i didnt quite decided on a name for the peice.

HHG is saying i did it 5 months ago i'll believe it (theres the process i went through to get the finished product in there, except that gay black shit and text (i was even worse at text haha)

now see how i have made a light source up the top left because i created a shadow (of a devil for those who don't see haha) and that light is coming down onto his face and chest while his chin creates a shadow

i hope this tip helped some of you beginners out
