i might do the masters program if I'm not deep into something else yet. the scool is crazy tho. you hve to be 100% dedicated or you'll fail.... and I don't mean pretending to yourself that you're dedicated. It's 24/7 eat drink and breathe Full Sail.

O I know... Or i've heard... When I was considering enrollment they told me the whole scheme of how they work it in there. Plus I know grads from there... But they aint considered one of the best schools of music in the country for no reason.

Macbook and GarageBand (I just bought it)

I'm gettin Logic and Reason from Opey pretty soon...I might throw Cubase in there for the hell of it

and the Ensemble joint...it "complements" Logic so I'm excited about that...

you'll need to buy cubase. It would probably be worth it.

btw... I'm not at my old address so don't send me anything until you get my new one in FL.

I have a question.. Kris, Brandon, Opey.. Do you all teach yourself this shit? I know more about Audio then the average person, but I mean.. I had to learn off somebody.. namely, Brandon.. But how the fuck ya'll niggas know this?

And Opey, I been thinking of majoring in Audio Engineering, but niggas been telling me its not a realistic career.. What are you majoring in?
I got a buddy named drop dead Fred, He ain't really real, he my imaginary friend,
My mama said that I shoulden't talk to him, Cause I look crazy when I start to fuck with him..

I learned alot while recording... and just sitting back and asking the engineer questions... reading... talking to Fatman and Kris... mainly Kris... but audio engineering is a stupid realistic career... from music... to movies... to concerts etc etc... and Opey is majoring in gross fat counts...

I think we all learn off each other. There's also a lot of readig books, reading and watching tutorials, paying attention and talking to the house engineer when you're in a studio, etc.

I'm completing my Associates in Recording Arts, then I'm pursuing a Bachelors in Music Business. There are plenty of jobs out there for people in the field. You don't even consider how many things need sound and how many people need someone to give them the sound they need. Being strictly a Hip-Hop studio engineer is a tough career. I wouldn't depend on it. But there are tons of jobs out there for anyone with talent, education (not just school) and good work ethic. Don't let anyone tell you not to do what you want because it's far fetched. If you know you love it then do it ad never question your decision. If you're not sure you want to devote your life to it then you're not ready to jump in.
