First, an announcement: It seems we don't get enough activity in this forum for a weekly update. I'm going to stretch it out to a month, make it easier for everyone to keep up, get some better quality pieces. There will also be a section for the best RI piece in the mag, which we're hoping to make a monthly thing(yeah i know, how many times have we heard that before, but I'm working with the staff to make it happen). Also, send any pictures you might want to be featured as the RI image to me via PM. Many thanks.

Taste of a sharp tin,
the din of our own progression halting
consume the air,
as sea and land is riddled with deathly malting;
hectic commotion of the beach front
adorning the back of heads...
We bow before the concrete titans,
hollow eyes that fire lead.

Waking up next to you

Her smile is shy;
lets me know her beauty is reserved.
She looks right past me,
but I'm not one
to let that get on my nerves.
I don't show off,
let the eyes do the talkin'
and I fall in love twice a day;
a habit she could be stoppin'
Now I'm daydreaming
of waking up next to her
and this blessing
is a gift thats well deserved
