Screens
For Better Heads
Know that the world is made of mostly The Unseen,
and that it takes a keen eye to see beyond the screens.
You want proof ?....the soul, oxygen and gravity...
even the FM band before it reaches the ear cavity.
The optimum performance of the Human mind...
depends on how well it's able to assess time.
Another unseen...but notably counting none the less.
We live life in luxurious excess...but still in duress and stress.
Never do we ponder on the distractions of this world.
Instead, we let our minds wander on pursuit of this beautiful girl.
Quite decieved we will be in the end...
if the luxuries of this world were like our girlfriend.
Always calling us with a seductful finger...
and a gentle whisper, which lustful thoughts linger.
Unseen to us is this decrepit woman, who's hair is fake...
who's eye lashes are fake...who's nails are fake.
The day we catch her our hearts would quake.
When the screens are unveiled, each one lifted...
and we see for what we were so pursuant...
That day, the directions of our hearts are shifted...
when we see with open eyes, our aspirations ruined.
What was once beautiful to us is now a monster pursuant to us.
And we try to excape realizing what it's doing to us.
Don't let it be too late...like when our soul's withdrawn.
Time wasted was worth using...but when it's gone...
It'll be a source of grief.
This world is a thief.
When we are born, we get off the train with empty knap-sacks,
and a knowledge that the train will be back.
And so we travel in the land filling these bags...
knowing that God awaits us.
Fill it with trash or fill it with good stuff, but...
When the train comes, never the less, we drag.
What will it be that you present to your creator?
Or maybe you think you are a lawyer, or masterful orator!
All the gold, money, houses or cars are never friends.
But good deeds are never squandered in the end.
The Earth Is Three-Fourths Water But The World Is Four-Fifths Illusion.
