what a retarded uninformed statement, of course their boxing form wasn't as good as a boxer, they weren't boxing... they have many other areas to have to consider to just open themselves up by taking a traditional boxing stance,
leg kicks, take downs, flying knees etc..
its a different world and I can't state ONE boxer that could walk into the UFC or Pride rings and do well in their customary styles...
Exactly the same as I'd also say there aren't any MMA fighters that could win a world title in boxing, people like Vitor Belfort have tried their hands at boxing and he knocked some dude out but I doubt he would ever be title quality
basically both sports are far too different to compare but if you basically wanna know who is the toughest... its MMA fighters by far, put mike tyson in his prime in a empty carpark with Fedor in his prime and it would be over very quick, and the reasons are that tysons strengths are simply too limited and fedor knows this,, he knows tyson would be standing, throwing punches. it would be instant take down, put him on his back, control him , work for a submission avoiding any damage from tyson and submit him,, which would probably take someone like fedor all over 3 minutes or less.....
and on the point of boxers dont get knocked out by women punches,a boxing glove is ALOT different to a mma glove, and the fact that boxers are stopped fighting as soon as one is a bit shaky for an 8 count stops it anyway....
boxing is about a hundred times less exiting than mma as a whole.
