do you guys ever sequence beats on your boards? Or do you just get em' for the sounds? I read that mini mo has a weak sequencer and limited editing options for the sounds, no envelopes or filter banks.
I just get them for the sounds... and run it through cubase/nuendo... as a vst... with the motifs...
same with the rest... I'd run them to a pre through instrument in... and then record them... if I'm going to be doing all that... plus... use fl and rewire it into nuendo and use that sequencer... etc.

i use em strictly for sounds... i think i've only sequenced on my motif 2 times... when i first got it...
i dont even buy boards anymore, (unless the rack version isnt available).... my only gripe with rack versions is controlling the browsing on them via MIDI... if only it would browse through the list mode like it does the patch mode on the fantom...
grr... i hate hittin the arrows on my keyboard only to randomly be shifted to a sound thats not in the category i started with.
