Strong passion for fashion I must be with the in crowd
It wont be seen on my body if it's not even in style
I like my fit sleek, my look unique, by my critique
knowing that one sight of me will make em fall to my feet
all the latest brands covering the high end ranges
but mostly Armani because of Louie and Finley style changes
I've arranged this party for upper and lower class people
and called it No Logo to show that we are all equal
When doing this I just thought meh...at the idea
but once the process got started my highschool gave cheers
I envied everyone the kids with no friends and counting
and after the announcement everyone seemed astounded
I told them that during this we'd have a competition
to see whose the best dressed kid with their Logo missing
There was this one kid who didn't really care to compete
Who's triumph’s of life left her weak throughout the days of the week
she wasn't considered cool yet more like a weirdo
she spoke a distinct tone as if an unclear throat
her long shabby hair looked worse in the mirror
but wanting to make an impression she'd soon conquer her fears
Weeks past and she started to look for the best dress
No Logo rings in her head and she checks....success
Head's home to mother to ask if she had something
she said yes her prom dress and rips the logo during discussion
Glad to hear the news her glowing smile illumes
every thought she had bad suddenly cleared the room
The night of the party came quicker than she expected
Her skins was even lovelier than the dress that dressed it
while on the way to the party she became very nervous
as her blossomed breast stared up sturdy at her service
the difference in her appearance could be noticed from a distance
and she knew that when an AW! came along with her entrance
In the party she finally feels like she fits in with the crowd
and learns what's it like to look and feel beautiful now
but that's only the beginning as her world began spinning
thinking her cheap spending would stop her from winning
but it didn't she won 1st place and she thought the dress was so-so
Her mom's old prom dress fitted with no Logo
Overwhelmed by all the attention she fills her palm with lip gloss
Noticing something fishy about the logo that was ripped off
After the party she comes home and displays to mother her success
and for once her mother smiled for ripping the logo off her dress

Pretty decent drop..I like the choice of topic, though I think something deeper should've came out of it...but nonetheless, the story flowed nice, vocab was cool...just glad it wasn't one of those real emotional type pieces...but like I said, good drop fam...

Nice storytelling. Original piece. People are probably scared off by the small font. It's hard on some people's eyes, and ironically, makes pieces look longer. Thanks for supporting the forum. Keep writing.

Yup pretty good man, i can see your trying to move away from the cliche topics and tahts a good thing, i reckon constant battles in SS got you in that mind frame. The characters and how they thought was good to plus so was the narrating of the story, the vocab pretty nice could be loosened up in areas man as it negatively efected the flow in parts..no a major though you'll sort that out sooner than later. Overall i found this pretty good, to my liking i can say, the actual sotry reminded me of something i saw on television couple of years down memory lane..what is actaully was i can't remember..but i think the moral of this story was either that logos didn't matter or it isn't the brand that makes the person it's the person which makes the brand ..idk..overall, it was good..so yeah Stay up^.
