man i just been making beats for a while, there alright, then i download some audio loops, put the ones that work together and that shits way better.
Fuck making beats myself im gonna do it this way. Royalty free too fuck. easier, sounds better. But there has to be some shit hole about them. so is there? Cause ima good beat maker now ripping shit off loops.

no full freedom in your creativity, your locking yourself into using loops and breaks

you can't possibly compete on a professional level doing that. So, the more you do it, and the more you get comfortable, that's less time you spend learning how to compose, and sequence.... and more time the next man (who you'll be competing against for placements) has to learn doing it the "hard way"... lol

then... when you finally get to the point were someone wants a beat from you... if they want a minor change up in the drums, or they want a piano key in your loop delayed or they want a chord strummed instead of just struck.... your screwed.

BUT DONT TAKE IT THE WRONG WAY

you can still use them shits, they work well, they're in tune, they more than likely have a verse loop, chorus loop, and a bridge loop, so you can get ideas from it, and use pieces of it or none of it at all...feel me...

think of it more as just an add in, then the main addition to your track

I spent most of my time, on a production level, trying to mimic the old school break records and the styles I really liked - so that I could replicate, or make custom change-ups for loops I snagged.

Plus, loops often stay in the 100-130 bpm range, so even if you use the stretch in FL or some other program - it will sound slightly different.
