Dynamic Mic question

How do you plug in a 1/2 jack Dynamic Mic onto a USB preamp? Can you use the XLR cable on the dynamic mic?

If i remember correctly my friend used a direct box when he had that problem and everything worked just fine

dynamic mics don't need preamps... you can use a xlr cable on the mic... the usb has nothing to do with the mic... it's the same thing as a regular pre... if it has a 1/4 in and xlr in... plug in the mic into one of those...


if your mic has an attached cord... and that isn't in one of those two forms... go buy an adapter.
