    The drum pattern isn't bad... Since you're new to making beats i'm gonna recommend using more loops, add a nice drum n percussion loop and organize it correctly and that beat could be strait. As of now it's too simple.

    i dont really see the west coast feel to it...i guess because of that piano stab that comes in...definitely work on makin loops (drums, melodies, samples) thatll help you learn the ins and outs of the program...fuck wit everything in your program...you need to know it...

    its not a bad first beat...you know where the snare goes, know where the kick goes...the hi hats are flowin wit the beat...
