I got the new version of sonar(cakewalk) and i my mics plugged in it picks up over the speakers clear but theres no indication of it picking up on a audio track..the meters dont move and it doesnt record...i pretty sure the audio card is asigned corrrectly tho..any IDEAS out there?

well give a lil more details... what kind of sound card/interface are you using? plus make sure that your pushin the record button on the track you want to record on as well as the main record. cuz if its pickin the mic up than its prolly something your not doing right with the software
