How good is the Samson CO1, for recording?.....someone has one for sale for $100....should I?

The Samson CO1 USB Condenser microphone is for people who aren't sure if they are going to continue audio recording and don't plan anything long term. The microphone dosen't require a pre-amp, so it makes it attractive to some people. You need to make sure you have a decent motherboard. Your probably going to get a lot of computer static when using the microphone so be prepared to use noise reduction tools.

The microphone itself has a flat response..so it suits most voices. I would only recommend it if your pinching pennies and not sure if your going to contiue audio recording.

Don't buy a used for $100, though. That's a rip off. You can get a brand new one for like $60 online.
