the mix could be better though.

for instance, the drums could be fatter, and harder, some compression could help that.... and some of the instruments could use less reverb. Like the strings.

The main violin needs to be more upfront, and the flute needs to come up some more too. Cuz right now it just sounds too far in the background. I think a good mix on this could take it to another level. I could see like, christina aguilerra or brittany spears doing a track on this. The clap could be better too. It shouldnt be panned so much. It should be toward the middle.

What you have here is a solid beat, with alot of instruments that go well together to create a feeling, but you dont have a anchor holding down your track.

Good Beat all around, I like your use of instruments. The mixing is good too, some parts of the song remind me of another beat maker i know, but it has the Cass touch to it. I think the kicks could bump more and maybe add in a bass line. its got that striper music feel to it, like the dude before said. But its all up to the Rapper what they want in it and the type of beat they want.

Bob ya head - Maybe add more variation to the other instruments so it doesn't sound like just a bunch of loops 4 second loops stuck together.

hush - not bad. I agreed with what Kain said. I would focus on one of the string samples and try to match the drums just to that sample. Then add a bass line. Once you have that 'anchor' use the other elements only in transition or to create a seperate chorus section.
