I call Vanja because his site has50,000 viewers every day. I tell Vanja that I'll give him x amount of money if he puts up a 150x150 pixel banner, linking to my site where I sell shit. I added a little more to that too, Vanja.
Emerge has a hookup where a link is at the bottom of every one of his threads, and every time someone clicks a link, he makes a little money. It's a way for the advertisers to be risk-free, to a degree. They know that they only pay if peple actually click the links and check out the site.

I don't know if you can make much money from a forum.
What these guys can do is use the main page, to write articles about hip hop albums, battle tracks, advertise artists... Get money off advertisement, and commision off sales, etc.
It's really wierd that these guys aren't doing anything with it. They must be all too busy. Or they want to stay hip hop or something.
nah, i aint ever clicked on the ads. well, yea i clicked on one once about beats, but the link it gave wasnt great. so, whoever's buying a place to stick an add up on this site aint gettin nuthin out of it (from me, in any case).

These ad have nothing to do with the threads or whatever... They don't really give a reason for the viewer to click.
If you had articles about battles, and then recommend some CD's within that seemingly unbiased article, then there's more reason to click.
