why don't you use a noise reduction plug in..? Hum... sounds kinda complicated to me.

look under "Restoration" in the plugin-ins list.

cubase is actually better at handling midi. the only useful features that nuendo adds is event grouping and full surround support as far as I know.
nuendo also samples higher than cubase does.
nuendo is more of a "media DAW"... cubase is a "music DAW".
Cubase SX can get the job done for music just as well as nuendo can.
