yo kris, if its not too much trouble could you try and explain the basic signal chain of your recording process and how youre incorporating your new gear like the consoles and whatnot. i dont think a lot of us understand how you are utilizing your equiptment and using em together.

the dbx has a return coming from the eventide, or the lexicon, depending on which set of effects are being used. Right now all the effects modules are on bypass, i'm prolly gonna give em a shot when i record a RnB singer or something, i'm not a huge fan of pre effects.

and the DAT machine was bought cuz one of my artist has alot of songs she did on a DAT machine. You'd be real surprised by the amount of people who ask about the DAT machine availability. A Alesis ADAT machine is supposed to be copped soon as well. Just trying to have all bases covered for when the big studio opens up.
and the control room is treated, its just treated with foam that is the same color as the paint on the wall almost. And we took pictures with a old digital camcorder, not a digi cam. Just needed to take some pictures.
and iot is kinda cramped, but not too bad... we still got a nice big couch ion there and some breathing and walking room... the room is pretty big, but this isnt the room its going to be in... this setup is just here until we get the commercial building done.
