man how did you manage to mess up your computer from a simple dvd-rom swap lmfao. take it to your neighbor to fix it. i'm afraid you might do more damage cus i dont know how u messed it up in the first place. it should be an easy fix for someone that knows what they're doing tho.

lol just wanna make sure. But yeah I fixed it, it's just that the white looking plug with a red, 2 black, and a yellow wire coming out of it is loose and comes out easily. I just shoved that thing in and carefully put on the case. But yeah Opey, it wasn't a biggie, it's just that since that air vent thing is connected to the side case, I accidently pulled it out too far and made it loosen that plug.

o yeah... i forgot you had a side fan. the 4 prong connector is called a molex connector. it supplies power to your drive. every drive has to have one. it SHOULD lock in place pretty good tho. if it doesn't there should be spare ones to plug in.

Ok, but somethings up with Sampletank. It doesn't come up as a VST when I try and use it in FL. I can't find it. When I go to the Audio drive, hit IK Multimedia, it shows Sampletank is there, and then the Instruments, but when I go and look at each sound file, it comes up as these st(with different combinations of letters) files. What happened to the VST and the actual program?

You mean I didn't put it in the right one? I put it in what the installer suggested to do. The Cubase VST plug-ins folder. It's in there, all the instruments and everybody but they're all listed as those st files. lol and I can't even uninstall it. For some reason it just installed the sounds. I'll reinstall it though.

Are you sure you didn't forget to put anything on it cuz it just installs the instruments and that's it. It doesn't even come up on the Add or Remove Programs List.

Well then..try something else. You ask too many questions, lol. Try googling the problem or re-installing the programs again.

Every computer has software problems every now and then and your going to have to learn how to deal with them. You can't come on here and keep asking questions without even trying to fix the problem yourself. I mean, every computer has software problems..If it was a hardware problem your talking about, then I would understand, but all these questions about software are irritating.

I'm not trying to be an ass or anything. Just google the problems or check the help files or search the threads. Opey has answered thousands of software-related questions.

I got it working and all, but for some reason when I try and open it as a VST in FL is comes up with an error say make sure you registered correctly.I mean it works when I open it up indiviudally, all the sounds are there and everythiing. it just comes up when I open it up in FL.
