    Definition of "Pain."

    What is pain?
    Pain is something that hurts so bad,
    You may no longer comprehend..
    Pain is not a scrape that occurs on the sidewalk..
    Pain is agony. Pain is not fun..
    Pain is only fun for those who distribute it..
    Pain is punishment. Pain has no definition..
    Pain has no definition because you cant define pain..
    Pain is not an accident..
    Pain is something that was meant to be..
    Pain is the reason we have war..
    Pain is the reason we have dear-devils..
    Pain was the Holocaust..
    Pain can come in all sorts of ways..
    Pain is love..
    Pain is when love no longer exists..
    Pain is when a man gets beat so bad..
    He can no longer walk..
    Without pain, we would be without violence..
    Pain is one of the many reasons..
    The world is not perfect..

    Pain..

    ..Is pain.

    Wow. Let me sit for a minute and inhale the hidden depth of those lines. You displayed a greater truth than I believe even you yourself had contemplated when you wrote this. Love is painful, when you find something you want so badly, when you need someone almost more than you dare to say, and when you find that love, that deepness, your so scared that it will fade away. And, when love is dying, right before your very eyes, and you can do nothing to halt it, though you pour your soul and entire existance into making it last..when its gone, that is the greatest pain of all.
    This was beautiful, not because it was technically brilliant or perfectly structured, nor because it oozed complexity. It was simple, and it almost hurt to read it, the mechanical somewhat robotic structure emphasised the true perspective; Pain is always with you, pain never goes away. The things you love are always the things you love, the things you hate are always the things that remain. Simple, poetic and beautiful.

    If its not too much trouble, could you please drop a reply on my piece, 'where the dust comes to lie' its on the front page and nobody yet has left a reply, i'd be very grateful of the feedback.

    Lol. EVERYONE, like no joke, EVERYONE compliments my shit cause my age. Age doesnt really meen anything to me, Im just a regular person in the poetry world whos trying to elevate. Thanks for the feed though.

    That's because, just like with sketching or skateboarding or any other craft, it takes lots and lots of practise screwing up and learning from your mistakes until you can consistently perform well, and getting something right whilst still in early days is something to be applauded.
