Who'd sell a bit of land
between the heavens,
when theres vacancy and
work in a celibate hand
held over a complacent earth.

We've traded dirt for worms
that stand like modern farmers,
sowing concrete seeds
across the back-lots of our cities.
One collective urban dream
re-directing spirituality
to meet in reaking garbage heaps.
Cheap religion has the land-filled
as the masses pass trash
reaching to a cultural stand-still.

The thick bones crack souls
with a strong sound, while
the rest that grow hollow
flourish off the broken worth
of malnourished marrow.
Walking chalk out-lines cast
gravel shadows over those
who hold flesh, like envious
ghosts that are jealous for
a fresh dress borrowed.

No one know's were they
place the thread, laced
within our heads that look
like books and fonts on spread
sheets we read, as He took
unwanted knowledge to test
solid schemes against flaws
to find the fallen laws breached.

I Taught were the fault line lies,
seperating the brake-in
taken from the vault behind
the rust in my iron eyes.
Time is blatantly disguised to
the rise and fall of lives called
by the confined asphault skies
that crush us with such pride.
