    Cutting Beats

Ight i wanna get into audio.

I have a beat, but i dont want to use the whole beat. Its too long.

I downloaded cubase but it says the procedure entry point could not be located.

Any other way to cut beats?

you just have to highlight what you don't want in CEP, then you just hit the delete button

or if you're in multi track view you can always put the mouse where you want it to end, right click and hit split, then delete the other clip, then when you mix it down it will only mix what you have in there.

if your using CEP, and if i remember right.

In multitrack view, highlight what you want, right click and then click "split".
Then with what you just split highlighted, right click and then click "loop duplicate".
