ok i got a KORG D1200 12track recorder an i was wondering if there was a program(like cool edit, acid pro) so i can do my mix downs on my laptop..i bought tha usb wire an hooked it to tha track recorder an tha laptop but was wondering if anyone knew ablout this so i can mix donw on laptop an monitor it.....thanks

i used to do it all the time with my tascam dp01 8 track recorder...
you simply connect usb transfer whatever files you want over to your laptop and load into cool edit.. its drag and drop style...
cool edit is a solid program
don't use cool edit. pull the files into cubase sx, nuendo, or sonar.

i completed my A.A. last semester in Audio Recording... just finished my first semester towards my AA in Music Business. Fag. I have a steady job at a TSPN Television running audio there. I have a my own studio, are we trying to prove something? I mean a real studio, not a computer and 1 dynamic mic. Ghost 24 Channel Console, HD24 recorder, blah blah blah... your even more of a joke now.

Tell me a couple things you learned in school, cuz you probably dont even reall go. Tell me a little about microphones, the kinds, and different polar patterns. What are a couple micing techniques? What is your prefered way to mic a drum set? Where is the presence range, sibilence, and intelligibility range at in the EQ spectrum? Thats all 1st/2nd semester type stuff, so you should probably know all that.
Just tell me anything. Point being your a gay netcee, i would kill you in anything related to hiphop or music in general.
