lately i've seen, bringing me upon tears
a loner with no comfort which brings upon fears
i was a loner so forth i can relate
a man with compressed emotions, so he locked his own fate
no man, a mere boy who wishes and dreams
hides himself under the covers as he hears the screams
his aunt yelling at him, oprhaned was the boy
he lived in her house, but is was a place he didn't enjoy
i must find a way out the boy starts to say
rests his head and says good bye to the sad day
watery eyes and tears rolling down
on the bed he wakes mid-sleep, and falls to the ground
a burden amidst some heartfelt pain
wondering when he'll see daylight again
taking care of himself an ophan by default
another child victim of rape and assault
threatened by an aunt addicted to drugs
never gave him food, never given him love
the aunt was his only family, his life torn apart
wishing there was something to fill his empty heart
he thought of his mom, elegant, true
the only caring person that this boy knew
disowned by his only father who loved many others
never had the comfort of a sister or brother
never had ambitions to play a certain sport
never had the chance, his childhood cut short
never thought of talking to his dad
the thought of his father made him quite mad
he remembers his father, ill faded at that
another one of those dead beat dads
he was a drug addict too, left his mother alone
only for money & sex was when the father came home
the boy only knew that his dad wasn't sane
the boy would always get beat everytime he came
tears of pain, and the boy only 7 years old
not enough money to live right he spent 7 years cold
no clothes, only 2 pairs and even then they barely fit
many times his mother thought of trying to commit (suicide)
his mother, beautiful, but a former whore
knowing his mother's past, a ghetto life he ignored
one raining night the worst of his life happened
he heard yelling and gunshots, and the sight left him saddened
his mother shot and killed, his father did the work
looking at his son, the father gave him a smirk
pulled the trigger back to shoot his little son
he heard a click and relized jammed was his gun
the father ran off as the boy frozen with tears
hoping and wishing that god would answer his prayers
he moved in with his aunt, who still didn't treat him like a son
you consider him lucky kid, but with his kind of aunt, he wasn't one
sometimes being locked outside the house, where predators lerked
raped, abused, and hit the boy was forced to do dirty work
dreams of being normal became dead and faded
any life but his, he dreamed to be traded
a sad sad boy with no will to survive
inspiration was dead no dream was alive
he wasn't fed, not properly taken care of, he wasn't well
everyday growing weaker wishing his aunt would burn in hell
day after day the boy came closer to death
and then one day there was nothing left
he died so sad with no one willing to help
just another death in the world no sorrow was felt...
but he has a moral to his life, the we all should understand
if we all could give love, this boy would have been a man
