I use to not be able to move the fan base cause I was weak
But now I got Chicken Soup and Pancakes
I can remember way back when my thoughts were scattered
As a little boy playing in the front yard keeping myself from danger
I've seen stranger situations but I'm pacing with the blessing I'm recieving
Please believe this is all me in the secret still remains
I'm hardcore in the brain loosing my mind my conscience against the grain
Thinking I'm hard the winning objective is distracting to knowing my part
In this world that has made it substainally hard for a young guy to make it
In his profession I'm not stressin or ignorant I'm just asking questions
For what it's worth since birth I've been compared to adolescence
For the record whats absurd to you is the perfect picture in my presence
The Chicken Soup and Pancakes is something Grandmother use to give me
Her remedy for hard times and for starving stomachs
And striving young minds thats ambitious and inspiration to the summit
The hand that I'm dealt with is a gift not something for the public
To know all my business I'm a man with more inventions than Nixon
In the office or the house cause I'm on the edge with my bosses
Nobody's kicking me around I don't stand for it.....not your problem
But be cautious of the verbal murder that I carry in my different voices
My appearance is a digital screening down in the corporate bunches
That Chicken Soup done a lot for a struggling guy who's important
To his family who has faith in his abilities
When nobody else is thinking of him making moves with his facilities
Being abstract can sometimes cost ya but taking risk
Is what got him this far
The Pancakes gave me adrenaline when it seem like I was running out
A touch of surp with some butter and a brother to help you clean your plate
Even when he was late to dinner he was quick to stop us and say grace
Life is a game in it's prime a bored police officer waiting for a chase
I guess thats one of the things that makes the U.S so great
We all feel locked in sometimes caught up in this place
The features of the land will dazzle your eyes you loose focus in this phase
But the Chicken Soup and Pancakes
Is my Grandmothers remedy for such a case
