Before a Bed of Flowers
The plain lent binding motions of the quotient between the child and his lilacs..
It seemed to be that he and glory were always adjacent to the ending climax..;
He is going nowhere; he’s groundwater rushing into the closest body of water..
The Tower of Babel separates him from speaking with the heavens’ daughter…
But I can see him lying amongst the flowers, and I can sense he’s very special,
And it’s probably to his subconscious that his iris from this height sees speckles.
The people below him are mere ants, but the things around him are the closest,
He whispered tongues to clouds and stars from beginning to ending moments…
The boy was a showman; I could feel it as I wait hesitant and make calculations,
And measurements in my mind; deciding, I go to meet a monster in the making.
And yet he's only six.
“Show yourself to me, and present an opportunity,” said the lonely child,
and even his egotistic attitude beguiles me into slowly resorting to a small smile.
“I’ve walked miles to see you, sir,” I said with every possible way of flattery,
as I could almost touch the invisible wire that connects us like sides of batteries.
In minutes we’ll be reduced to me and you goading each other and all chaffing,
But that’s just because we’re the polar opposites, but attract like two magnets..
He could feel something as well; it was obvious by the way his eyelids fluttered…
I’m so intent on staring into his countenance and making formulas I hear mutters.
“Pardon?” I can see the features on this future creature swiftly change at first,
Me? I can smell his innocence, but I’m branded, I’m stranded with my sad curse.
“I said the sun is bright, but can it be too much so?” An intelligent question.
He’d learned the first lesson, but who knows Tempter’s plan, I’m really guessing.
With cruel intentions I know he’d mold this model student to his own masterpiece,
I borrow a mortal’s sorrow for a moment because the future cruelty cannot cease.
Closing my eyes I understand he knew what was happening to in a small percent.
Even at such a young age he can see I’m the mirror image, and he’s the light bent.
He said…
“You’re lie sent,” In man’s tone, knowing he’d give up his childhood in tradeoff.
“Perhaps that’s the truth…
but you know inside you to come and join me, Adolph.”
