I couldnt be bothered to read thru all the pages to see if some1s already said this, but if and when you quit, start some medium/long distance running after a few smoke-free days.
It will definitely help, the excercising will increase the need for oxygen, making your body take more in. This in turn will open out the lungs more, and with more oxygen - your lungs and heart will heal much faster and more efficiently.
If you need some coaching or guidelines on distance runnin, hit me up on AIM or MSN and ill help you through everything i can on the subject. ive been distance running for 8 years so i like to think i can help people.

I have similar type of pain... It's like in the middle of my chest though. Like where the chest plate is... I don't think it's my lungs... but probably around my lungs...
I'm gonna quit after my carton is finished.
I've had the same thing for about 2 weeks, which is why im tryin to quit cigarettes right now but i'll definintly keep smokin weed.
I love weed but hate ciggarettes.
I think they taste and feel like shit.
But what I do do is dip and snuff.
I like the flavor and slight buzz they deliver...
