I think it looks disorganized with all those blotches. It's better to have some parts darker overall and some other parts lighter overall, ect... Right now it's like light, dark spots all over.
And things are too vertical and horizontal... Add some diagonal shapes to make it more dynamic.
I don't know I am just trying something different due to being tired of brushing over a background.
