Real quick one, this is the actual size of a cd cover well I might be a pixel off it was either 342x342 or 343x343.

Font is supposed to be simple, I am not trying to add those stupid shaped fonts, they are hard to place and don't look good. Besides I just did that in a few minutes nothing special.

The first one to me is better. But would look sicker ewith the 2nd pic's back ground with out the light ning. Go east with text. Keep us posted.
thats just a really basic vector logo.
i made it for him, so it can be resized to whatever, whether it be used for logos on a cover, or poster, or resize it just to label his name on a mixtape or something.
i told Daz i kept the PSD, and its on its own layer. i didnt find the need to make it transparent to display it on a website.
when he needs it colorized, and what not, it will be done, but for now. basicness.
and more basicness.
blending and shit going on. a bit different from the cityscape. i just hate skylines.
and its 500 x 500 because that is what its supposed to be.
the text, some will hate.
and the ligtning and shit in the back has yet to be added, but im mainly just posting this for Daz's benefit, so he can tell me if hes liking the outcome so far.

That's the actual size of a cover. What you made is too dark and also monotone which is a no no.

Lat's is very nice... I would place the calm before me text to line up with the right side of the Storm text and make it overlap a little and make it horizontal instead of diagonal.
PS: Pixel dimensions doesn't mean anything. You have to follow inches to inches dimensions to get the correct size.
Syn's is very cool too excpet it's lacking contrast.
