I see it as a move (a bold one at that) to limit any future moves made by the left for power in the UN. I have said this many times, you will hear people calling for a new free UN, since a good majority of nations within the UN are not free. If you took a second to look hard at the UN resolutions over the last few decades you would see something alarmaing. That would be an overwhelming number of resolutions placed on Isreal as opposed to known terrorist states. Anyone with half a brain can conclude from that just how patheitic the UN has become. You and I know of this push for a "UNTIED FREE NATIONS", but many of these members do not, so it's going to seem realy shady on this administrations part. Yet they do not see why this administration would have to resort to tactics that counter those of the past made by the UN, or the left in general. Bottom line, if nothing is done, then the UN sinks into obscurity and proves as useless as everyone is claiming it to be. YOu have Kofi Anan still in power after his collegues voted him out in a vote of no confidence, yet you do not see the media playing that up. They are playing up a move made by the President that is not illegal, just bold. I say it's smart, since this administration does not have the media in bed with it... I can post up info on the resolutions made by the UN like I have in the past, but the point here is why was the media brain dead on those issues? Exactly... Canuk we will get into his personal politics later, as you can see I was just aiming at killing he major noise first... I know you will understand this...
