Well that all depends on who is on at the time with the ability to close a thread. Some might close threads that will lead to massive pages of gayness, or flat idiocy. Welcome threads are closed, but it's just a way to keep some 30K of these threads from clogging our space. If a thread is interesting and fresh, then you see that such a thread will stay open. If the thread has been done way too many times, then it wil be closed. Yeah, were not friendly to new comers here, but that is just the way it is here on RB. Actuall compared to back int he day, members are rather patient witht he new users, before they were not.... So have fun, and contribute tot he forums of your likeing ont he site. Also remember to read the rules of the forums before posting, might save you some issues later....
