man...nas changed his style after his first CD, there is maybe one or two tracks on his second CD where he raps in the same style, then he changed everything else because he wasn't selling well enough.

I think jay-z is one dude who came with a style, evolved it into his own, and then became one of the most bitten style wise in history.

2pac also evolved into a very nice style and stuck with it.

    i'd also say...

    slick rick
    kool keith
    big daddy kane
eminem has been bitten by every other white online rapper

    can't forget outkast

    and worrrrrrd to Pharoahe Monch

face it, both bridging the gap and thief's theme arent worth a shit in comparison to nas' first two albums

Yea nas did change his style from illmatic, which personally I think is the best cd lyrically wise ever he killed it bar by bar, then he changed it up...he's still nice but not as nice back to the illmatic/it was written days...but he's still dropped classics after those.

Nas- Illmatic was ill and he's done well considering the change in hip-hop he's well developed and the lyricism is good. His singles are decent but the tracks are sick ass fuck most of the time.

Dre- The Chronic was ill. Classic material. He sounded very raw in NWA and then The Chronic developed him a s a solo artist, but 2001 feel off with the rawness but the beats were sick as fuck.
