short version of my life

[Pillboy]

born to this world a misfit destined to live through troubled times
brought up on drugs,money,gangs,and music forced me to my life of crime.
In and out of the juvenile system until i graduated to the county,
headed in a nowhere direction fast-thinking will i change?even i doubt me.
free from the system-but how long can i last?
i keep telling myself to change, but it's hard to forget the past.
all i know is that i've fallen in love with this girl and im finally ready to move on
start a fresh new life with this girl-my crime life is gone
i guess it's tru that love can make you give up your life style
im happier than ive ever been in my life and ive been down many roads and walked many miles.
sometimes i slip but i get back up and keep moving
im a survivor, i adaptquick to my environments and keep groovin
one day i'll make it,i have no doubt in my mind
as long as i stick to this poetry and rhymes
say good-bye to the thuggin and walk away from the crime
no more trouble with the police,cause i aint doin no more time

This was a good piece. Full of imagery. I can relate to it in a way. This clearly came from your heart. The flow and scheme were good. The structure is a lil off here and there, but it's still a good poem. I like the meaning behind it. Overall, I liked it. Keep up.
