because in the simplest way i guess i could mumble your name
its not easy i can tell its written all over your eyes
this is easy. this has to come easy. i'll sit here
guitar in my hand as i get things rearranged and now i

let me write this down . rewrite it all
and hit rewind. make sure its right for me but ever so perfect for you
this first touch could sway the course of events
as we breath for the first time
. exhale .
make sure nothing is ever missed and its coming back to me now
free to my hand and even softer when it comes from my mouth
let me have a chance and give you everything you ever said you wanted
lets get this is the right . lets bring this back from the dark back to light
i'll move my lips and give you a chance to respond
better yet i'll wait for your reaction.

as we step into the light . this could be our opportunity
our last chance to go. our last chance to get this in order
but before . a milestone.
first we need to have enough in place to remember .
we'll take this for what it is
and maybe when we can look back on this we can understand
why some things were never ever spoken of.

your spoken word was effortless and simple .
this is more than what i had thrown together
this was more than your favorite song
this was something a little more personal
this was me coming to the realization that you were always in my shadow
before i gave you a chance to glow and grow

i'll let you know it was never meant to be this complex
and you loved it when i kept it simple. it was real enough
it was more than just a poetic justice. it wasn't us giving up
for more or less it was the justification of a moral support
consequences that we should have recognized from the start
this could be now

and you could feel this to the depths of your soul
as for me i'll never give into the demons of sleep
for now i'll write the angels i never believed in
letters of apologies for each time i broke their wings


i'm still nothing with out this .finding something to bring
this was a mirror that had a reflection of pure emotion
except the lights shine through forget the notion
because with out this there would be no end

Its Aight.. Up your vocabulary i think needs more imagery also ...

aight, your style is very refreshing, dont change it, try not to use the same words so often unless its some kind of mantra. Like, you said "lets" a lot in the third strophe. Damn your style is really cool, it has a strong poetic voice and its very musical. this would make a good spoken word.

i've found if i use the big words in the right context that for some reason people don't connect with it more... but i'll start using bigger words on this site lol.. o yea it was a free write..so no edits or anything.. but thanks for the feed back.. anyone else?
