    Natural or Something Else?

    I guess you could say I have a weak lower back. It hurts if I do a lot of extreme lifting and such. Well anyway, I have been doing leg-lifts, scissorkicks, and flutterkicks every night for the past week or so to work my abs and such. One of the coaches at my school said leg lifts help to strengthen your back. Anywho, last night, when I went to do leg lifts, as I was doing them I felt some pain in my back. It wasn't unbearable pain, but it was there. Dev. (from RB) said that flutterkicks are bad for you, and is this what he meant?

    Is the pain natural from the exercises I've been doing, or could it get worse and be a potential threat to my health?

    Word, lol....some of your exercises are why I hate doing Army physical training. I'd rather just skip out and go to the gym.

    The pain is kind of like a strained pain near the bottom of my back, right above my waist, like when you pull a muscle. But it only occurs when I do the leglifts. I also get a weak feeling in my shoulders and neck after rigorous situps and the other excercises I mentioned. Is this understandable?

    Yeah, I know it'd be better to ask a trained professional, but I just wanted to ask on here first, because it's the only forum I use, and I figured someone else could relate.

    Ahhh, your probally overtraining. Take a break for a week or two then try and get back into it slowly.

    Ice it, Don't exercise the same muscle on consecutive days if your using any weight and get protien in your system.
