In general, the bay kills everything else around underground/indie-wise.

But that's not to say that the best from elsewhere in the country can't compete, there is just more of a concentration of indie talent in the bay.

im not sure, there aren't many shows or people out and about
performing in my area; not that i know of at least. I'm from a
small city so...yeah. Central cali isnt really the beacon of the
underground anyways. Fresno is the closet moderately big city,
Planet Asia is from there that's like the only person i can
think of right now
