I need to know whats the best basic studio setup that's out there. I mean as far as computers, monitors, mics, headphones and mixing boards go. But if you can tell me anything you can about the best basic studio setup.....it would be greatly appreciated...

im going pretty basic...im gonna be ordering in a few days...
im getting the:
-emu 1212 $200 us
-mxl990(very basic) $60 us
-presonus blue tube $100 us
-u'll need headphones too.. on this site the best to ask is prolyl opey..they guy knows what hes talkin bout..and i trust his opinion! Alkatracz helped me alot too...

actually mogami makes the best cables, but u also have to get the HD gear cables which are expensive.
