I'm hesitant to make a forum like that. The problem with it being that im not sure if we have enough good, quality heads to do that. It would basically be an "elite open mic" list of people who were allowed to write there; probably with anyone allowed to post feedback to their pieces. MSN, get on aim please. i think i know who you are but i need to talk to you on aim.

Up. I havn't posted an original OM on this site in months, and had no plans too, but if you make an elite topical forum, I'd get active again. I think I'd be able to get a few more elite level topical heads to get more active, aswell.

I think we should just improve the forum we have. Nobody is going to get better on this site if they're confined to getting feedback from newbs. If more good people post in the present OM forum, then more good people will also be replying in the present OM forum... word?

No it doesn't. The Hall of Fame is a joke at this point. Now, it's infested with average pieces, voted in by friends of the writer. SS is just getting weaker and weaker. The Short Story forum is gone. All of these facts attribute to why ill writers have been leaving this site for almost a year.

Also, saying "ill cats should just post more in the forum we have" is not a viable solution. Ill cats used to. They left because of how shit is being run. They left because it's a popularity contest. Can somone tell me why SMZ is in the hall, like once, and people like Judge are there 6 and 7 times? I'm not trying to diss Judge cause he's nice, but SMZ, T West, Junio etc have dropped twice the amount of pieces, and got less responses when they are clearly on another level of writing.

The only Cerebral Craft forum to be taken seriously now is the poem section. This shit is becoming a place where mediocrity is praised, and good writing isn't viewed.

Now you tell me why a decent Judge thread can get 5 pages of replies, and a Legendary member struggles to get replies. Judge doesn't even give feedback on other people's shit. Wtf is going wrong?

K, no disrespect. I think you're a decent writer, but you came to mind. You got 5-6 pages of responses and the WOP II tourney champion can't even get one page. Then people wonder why he ran off to run his own league. I've had days where I've replied to 20+ OM and only got 3-4 replies. A good 1,200 or more of my post were in the OM forum. Noone can say I didn't try.

Maybe another forum may not be the answer though. Maybe I'm completely wrong. I just don't think the whole Cerebral Craft section is being run like it should be.

You know what it is, really ? I think its the 2 link rule, basically theres about a few dope pieces in the midst of utter trash. I mean I can give constructive criticism, and then be lashed out at. And when I do and post my links, they're too short and my piece gets closed. Fuck that. I'd rather write when I feel the need, and when people do review your piece, they'll actually take the time instead of trying to get two quick links and not read shit. It's pathetic, I can live with getting 5 replies as long as it critiques my piece. I dont need two pages of replies because my O.M's never get peeped regardless, I post whenever I have absolutely nothing to do. It used to be that I could post 2 or 3 a day sometimes. Now I could post 2 or 3 every 6 months.
