Resident Evil 4

I bought Super Smash Bros. Melee today at EBGames, and apparently they give you a free Resident Evil 4 demo if you buy any GameCube game.

I played the demo, and I was stunned. This Resident Evil feels different, yet the same. You'll understand once you play it, because it doesn't use the same old engine it used to (prerendered backgrounds, and stiff character movements), it's in full 3D now, and the camera is always behind you.

The graphics are awesome, bump-mapping everywhere, it's insane. It has a gritty a la Silent Hill feel to it, but it's very much Resident Evil.

You play as Leon, and you end up in this barren old town/farm place. The cool thing about it, is that they actually have Spanish people in it (Yeah, finally assholes), but they're psychopathic killers who can take 3 shots to the head. So far from what I've played, they are no zombies (maybe later on?) but there are those crazy Spanish farmers who carry reapers with them. Oh, and they're human, just very crazy.

I'm really looking forward to this game. Also, it's headed for Playstation 2 as well.

I gotta be for real here tho and say i hoping the next GTA is better then San Andreas cuz i found it too easy and short, completed it in bout 2 weeks. In VC u could buy all those properties n do missions on em n shit, all u got here is Truckin Minin Cars Territories Zero and thats all i can think of. On VC u got Protection Ice Cream Cars Strip Clubs Clubs all that ish, was more fun.

I know that aint got shit to do wit GC or resi, jus my opinion bout future games really.

Yeah, the guy that gave it to me (Manager I think), said that also, but he also said they were giving it away if you bought any GameCube game. They weren't handing it out to anyone today because there were only two 'in-training' employees, and that other guy who gave me Resident Evil 4.

i clocked all of rezo evils series.. its so fuken awesome.. not like other games this has a massive meaning which freaks the fuk outta every1 dat plays it.. unfortunately i got ps2 so iono if that will come out on it.. last rez evil i played was code veronica x,, that was fukin dope..
