    Its not your language. Its your ancestor's language. And I do believe "cant" has an apostrophe before the "t".

    yea cant does have an apostrophe but most dont choose to use it......where you hear about it being are ancestors language?

    you must mean our ancestor's language, as opposed to are. where did i hear about this ? from someone intelligent. did you actually think YOUR generation invented the english language ? blah if you seriously think your generation invented english never post again .

    Actually you are wrong. 'Ancestors' is more than one person, you are right. However, when using apostrophes, if a thing is grouped collectively then it must have an apostrophe then an s. Since 'ancestors' is one collectiove group of people before you, it is apostrophe s.

    It will be Ancestors' if it is in the plural form.
