    I said something about this in a different thread .. word to tax kids don't know what mastering is. It's mostly writing subcode p and q flags which are the markers your cd uses to skip to tracks and run timecode commands and shit..... the rest alot of the time is evening out the cd and making sure if you pull up a cd on the computer the TOC loads up and shit... word. It's more then just adding compression limiting and eq over the stereo mix =). pz.

    word...I figured it was alot more complicated then what these niggas nowadays been talkin bout...

    and doesnt CD Architect kinda do the marker thing...? I know when I put some tracks on there it does it...would that be some newbie type mastering...?

    oh before I forget...yo Tax...do you know of any cd duplication companies that do mastering when they send you the cd's that you order...?

    yeah, Mastering you got to be professally train for that. with some programs, you can get lucky.
    but unless, you got some real professinal equipment, and know what chur doing its going to sound pretty basic.

    I believe there some places where you can pay to get it mastered tho
