Underground-Canibus(my fav)
hip-hop: Luda, T.I/Lil Flip.............and Eminem (traitor)
Hip Hop is a culture, not a genre of music^ stupid.
Underground belongs to Immortal Technique IMO th0 MF DOOM is considered the best in alot of circles.
Gangsta' rap-Ice Cube, the old Snoop, BIG and Pac. Wu-tang aswell.
Crunk-No one.
Lyrical rap-Mostly all rap is somewhat lyrical, but Rakim and Rass Kass types are the best.
Old school-Melle Mel.
Conscious rap- Common and Talib Kweli. Mos Def too.
Political rap-Public Enemy, NWA, I.T.
The list goes on.

Ya'll are crazy...Hip Hop envelopes all of the "styles" that you mentioned.
It's all the same too..just a difference in demographics and presentation.
For the most part it's either materialistic, politcal, party influenced, concious, or poetic.
