Wayne Gray and Freddy Eastwood are the best strikeforce ive seen in this league so far this season, and with Jay Smith back next week (Instant goal supplier, could control midfield flat on his back whilst being kicked in the face) Southend are a force to be reckoned with... an almost perfect Home record (only 1 loss) and 5th in the table...
Considering we finished 17th last season... thats not bad progress...

Swans are second..looking strong for promotion if only our strikers can find the target more often than they have been doing this season i cant see why we cant get promoted this season. Solid defence havent concided a goal in 11 hours at home..willy gueret been a revelation for us. The way the season has started i think teams like scunny, yeovil, orient would be the main contenders, although as a swans fan i am slightly concerned over the emerging southend united team, eastwood ive been really impressed with since his hat trick debut against the swans.
