I swear to GOD!.. ok i have two condenser mics that don't work when i hook em up into my mixer.. .. but the mixer itself works and dynamic mics work through the mixer also.. can phantom power run out??... Is there anyway to fix this besides buying a new mixer?..

You should be able to measure the voltage being provided by your mixer. If it is substantually lower than 48 volts, then you have a problem with the mixer. Of course dynamic mics are going to work, since they require no phantom power, but if you plug in a dynamic mic and turn on the phantom power, some low end mixers can not handle it. The mic should be the weakest link in the chain, but in some mixers the output stage of the 48volt circutry goes, before the dynamic mic is damaged.

^^^ How am I a fool, you never stated what type of mixer you had or said anything like "My condenser mics stopped working with my mixer". Check to make sure you turned Phantom Power on is a legit answer, especially considering the type of questions kids throw out on this board.
