i personally look at my post count.. and wonder what was my 1000th post... or my 666th.... its dope to see that i posted more than 4 thousand times in a lil more than 2 years.

In some ways it matters, like it shows how long you've been here, and you can vote and stuff.
And it's not a good thing to do cuz it promotes dickriding, but posts sort of give status... I guess that's why there are the titles along with the posts. Cuz of status. But that promotes dickriding, cuz a newbie can have beaten someone with 1000 posts and still lose.
