i found ways to avoid trouble
like i had in the laurels with cops
like hiding in doubles
inside carey and ty's spot ,but then
we hear knocks,
hesitate to turn the knob,
our nerves shocked
till we finnaly open and we spot
a cop with a nightstick
sayin she heared word from the
local neighborhood watch
the second she finished
quickly two of us jetted
i didn't know who or why it was unexpected
but i followed along
breathin heavy and sweatin in winter
snow slowin me down
shoes caught, and slush havin me slippin
i ask why we runnin, no reply is givin
all i know that between us in the cop
we was gone and we was winnin

jumped the gate that seperates the apartments
my shirt got caught,
my back got cut off the gates harness
blood on my wyfe beater,trying not to alarmn this

split into six routes
each ran through another buildin themselves
i went to building 21
the twins went into buildin twelve
i began to get tired, worries filled my mind
if i get caught, i know i'm doing time...
without knowing the crime, whic isnt mine at all
still gotta find chuck, carey ty,christian and jamal
quick flash of pain, seared through my lower back
i was in too much pain i had 2 use time to relax
as i'm sittin down quickly pain didn't matter
i hear a familiar name and a glass shatter

i intantly pop up jettin to the sound
i see the glass on the floor, but theres no one around
then i hear my name called, its carey without his brother
we wisperin what happen, just tryin to keep it suttle
says chuck with his brother drivin home
but jamal christian and Ty has yet to shown
we could of went home but he refuses to leave without Ty
says Ty just went to court and his momma paid the fine
i ask him what's the problem and what did we do
he told me we did nothing, there isn't even no proof
miss fens from the 2nd floor,jus wanted us to move
as we continued searchin for Ty a siren sound
and we saw Ty peakin through widnow with his head down
Jamal we never found, till the next mournin
he said he hid out inside the laudrymat's corner
till the cops went away, but now
the laurels seemin quite soothed
i guess alot shit changed after i moved
