Ive never really been on the other end of pointing fingers
So I wouldnt know the scrutiny and pain that the heart lingers
But I imagine all the lonely tears that the teased have faced
Being made fun of for various reasons such as being fat, ugly or your race
Or because your in a certain crowd and your clothes look a certain way
Damn it would be horrible to walk down the hall hearing destructive comments everyday
But you just ignore them and carry on handling your emotions the same way
Then you go home and cry upon your mothers shoulder later that same day
You finally make it through a whole school week and the weekend is a savior
Though this short peaceful bliss away from all the harassment and bad behavior
Monday happens to be right around the corner and the cycle beings
I can just imagine all the pain and suffering to teenagers that I have caused
I never really took the time to take a step back to just pause
I was part of that elite group who supposedly had no appearable flaws
Someone elses emotions Ive vandalized like my words had vinyl acrylic latex
Forever ones memorys will constantly stay vexed
They fear the spoken word and perpetually fear what you’ll say next
Its the paranoid outlook on life that youve helped develop
Keep pushing the limits until one of these kids leaves your school held up
Then you become there target an they’d like to see how your ego has swelln up
Take this as a thought provoker and let everything within you linger
And just imagine all the emotional breakdowns from a pointing finger
