    perfectly put.

    mmmm

Youre an idiout if you didnt write to a beat, in your head or at least a drum or something to flow with.

You idiouts ruin it foryourselves then comeback and blame it on other kids, who cares if people critisize your flow? If you know that it is right, dont touch it.

    Just do Audio.

Without text, the only audio's would be freestyles.

Meaning, that most audio pieces would suck as not many people can freestyle to a high standard. (This is not a place to go getting on your high horses with such comments as, "My freestyles are dope" or "I can free for 5 minutes, yo!" and so on.)

Also, this post is by no means saying that audio is better than text or, that text is better than audio.

Simply, audio needs text, to a certain extent.

    Peace.

There's a difference between writing text for the sake of text and writing text for the sake of audio. I can't begin to sum up the amount of of times I've seen kids write a bars like:

I stun my opponents with the force of 300 jedi knights in armored suits wielding light sabers/
I got news for kids my flows are so intellectual they make the front page headlines of your local papers/

Yeah awesome that's some premium grade textcee flow right there! And I'm spitting it double time!!! AWESOME!!!

Also anyone saying what the majority of "texcees" are writing is poetry are kidding themselves. That's like saying a go cart is a real car...

    Audio > Text
We're talking about hip-hop not novels.
Chez Scheme - Can you INTERPRET *this?
You're rhyming with a "lisp" how I "interpret" is a wonder
You all know my "scheme" (set! wackRappers sixFeetUnder)

The only thing text has done for me is ruin my flow, make me have no delivery , with some good punchlines. It took me 6 months just to get a decent flow and delivery, I advise you to never do text.

Yeah I learned the hard way that textceeing is bullshit. I have been rhyming (ciphers) for years man, and I'm pretty good. I get on here, and battled, and the other kid is talking the gayest shit I've ever heard anybody claim. Saying shit like suckin cocks, lickin balls, and fuckin people in the ass. I was like this dude is off his square for real. So I drop something, straight lyrically painting a vivid picture of how I would demolish him. That faggot WON, they was like "well he had better punches, I liked the on eabout the cock in the ass...". I was like WTF, are you serious?

Look at my record man, all those losses are from TEXT! All my wins are from audio.

1st You cannot judge someones rhyme correctly if you don't know what style it's written in. It's up to the person reading it, and if your a homo, you'll read it in a gay way.
2nd 90% of the shit they say is in reference to some GAY shit that a real emcee, wouldn't dare say.
3rd Very few emcees on this site ACTUALLY KNOW how to judge any hip-hop...
People judge on technicalities rather than IT SOUNDS GOOD.

Hip-Hop is an expression...if you truely express your TRUE self you can't go wrong. Stop trying to fit into the rules here...ain't no rules...

I guess that makes the rest of ya'll slow.

    Damn, I'm good!

Everyone just needs to get over themselves.

    It's apples and oranges.

    It's like saying,
    "no dude...stamp collecting's where it's at!"

    And the other guy saying,
"you're whack, everyone knows coin collecting is the future!"

    Silly, silly, silly arguement.

Being carried out by silly, silly, silly people...
Who, might I add, seem very insecure about their own talent and where it's taking them, cuz...obviously...no one puts down something so much unless it's a threat to them, or they feel it is...

I, on the other hand, have yet to make one single thread about this...

Who else can say the same?

    It's hobbies, people.

If it's any more than that, some of you have problems rooted deeper than hip hop or any message board.

    Seek help.

    Peace

THAT's the problem, some people are serious...some people it's a hobby.
If you want honest feedback about your creations go somewhere else, in the real world.

That's like me going to a coin collecter and telling him "that ain't worth shit, I got this new one in my pocket and its WAY shiny'er than that one..."

Text flow can be off children. Honestly, it really can be. Its like poetry...like..

    blah blah blah A
    Blah blah blah C
    Blah blah blah B

^No rhyming what so ever. Especially if you intended to rhyme.

& Mag, I hope you're not talking about your latest drop. Because you didnt make too much sense. In audio, Im wondering how the hell are going to deliver that shit. But ah well.

    exactly wrong

your one of those confused dudes....

textceeing is a whole different ball game from a emcee's written.... alot of times when something is written to a beat and posted on a text board... they say "the flow is off"... or "this sucks it dont read right".... cuz there used to lines that are longer than freight trains. There are so many more aspects to emceeing that text doesnt even touch. So i dont even consider textcees hip hop rappers/emcees

cuz MC has alot of meanings.... none of them resemble anything a textcee does...

Move the Crowd... Mic Controller... etc... all things real emcees do.

But there's no crowd on RB, Syn...

    So...

Who ya trying to "move" here?

I can understand you loving what you do...

But you keep talking about it on a TEXT WEB SITE.

So, how credible can you really appear, dude?
